Halloween and other things

1. Last Friday was a special day at school. We had a Harvest Party. We did lots of activities. We counted and sorted candy, then got to eat it. Daddy came to help at the party. He was the relay race helper. It was really fun! We also ate cupcakes, apples and drank apple juice.

2. Halloween was super fun! I was a nice witch. I had a pointy hat, but also pink wings. I went trick-or-treating with Emma, Alex and Audrey. (Mom's note: they were all terribly bossy with eachother and it was basically miserable!) We went to the party at the highschool too. They had lots of fun things to do, like bouncy houses, making bracelets and shooting monkeys out of the tree. Alex is a good shooter. We also rode ponies!

3. Today we went and got my girl scouts uniform. It is blue. I will get a brown one when I am 7. I went to the haircut place with my mama and watched her get a haircut. Then we went to the grocery store and to a different haircut place to get my haircut. Then I had dance class at 4. I learned a couple new moves. They are kind of hard. Then we came home and ate dinner because my dad had to go to work early. He left already. Its also bath night, but I don't have to wash my hair because they did that at the haircutters. It was a busy day!

Meghan prefers to blog in list form these days. She must get the list making habit from my mom! It's been a good couple of weeks. Last week was conference week at Meghan's school, so she only went to school one day. She really missed school. We missed her going to school! She gets grumpy when she goes too many days without seeing her friends. She has one friend in particular that we hear a lot about. Her name is Ivy. They sit next to eachother at school. From the sound of it, Ivy is just as nutty as Meghan. Two peas in a pod. Today Meghan wanted to drive all over town looking for a peach house with a red door, because that's what Ivy's house looks like. We've never been to Ivy's, but apparently there was talk about a play date to be scheduled in the near future.

We met with Mrs. Deckman at Meghan's conference last week. She is doing well in school. She knows all her letters and we are working with her at home on her letter sounds. She knows how they sound, but it hasn't yet clicked to put those sounds together to make words.

Catch up with you all later!
